Doug Cuthand is Cree, originally from the Little Pine First Nations in Saskatchewan. He has won awards from the American Indian Film Festival, the Geminis, the Saskatchewan Motion Picture Association and the Columbus International Film and Video Festival. Doug's weekly columns appear in Saskatoon's StarPhoenix and the Regina LeaderPost; his features appear in the Winnipeg Free Press. Doug lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Tapwe is his first book with Theytus.
