Meet illustrator Christopher Auchter in Vancouver

Chris Auchter, illustrator of Jenneli's Dance, Just a Walk and Chuck in the Citywill be signing books at the Westin Bayshore during the The First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) 15th Annual Provincial Conference on Aboriginal Education - Reconnecting the Generations.

Theytus Books will be participating in the trade show at this years FNESC Conference at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver.

Once chief of the Tetlit Gwich’in of Fort McPherson, NWT, Robert Alexie offers a dramatic, haunting glimpse of a northern community’s struggle with the impact of the residential school system imposed on Canada’s First Nations in his novel Porcupines and China Dolls.
